Canadian Taxpayers Federation spells this out fairly clearly. Compared to our neighbours, the MB provincial government is pounding people with low personal exemptions and bracket creep.

I doubt we can expect much in the way of tax relief in this coming budget, but this video sure tells you how to tell the government what you think of their high taxation rates.

ReplyDeleteIf one counts on a fixed retirement income of about $40K a year, you pay HALF the amount of provincial tax in Ontario than in Manitoba! Half! Why is this NDP?
