I'll tell you why it's not a goal of the NDP government. They saw the Sask. NDP relent and lower taxes. They encourages more development of natural resoruces. They saw Sask. prosper.
And they promptly got the boot.
The NDP really is only effective when the populace is poor, down and out. When things are going well, it's much harder for them to stay in power.
The Manitoba NDP isn't stupid, and they saw their cousins in Sask get the boot for doing the right thing.
Don't expect this government to do anything to make things better for this province - they're content to deficit spend other people's money.
As Rosie says "Running a deficit is a good thing sometimes".
Yah, when you want the keep the population down and out.

ReplyDeleteI was just looking at that individuals blog, and some of the youtube videos they have. I have to admit, for a human being to hate any other human being THAT much, regardless of the reason is a little scary. Is this some 14-16 year old teenager that is composing the blog? I sure hope it is not a full grown adult.
ReplyDeleteI agree his posts are over the top. To me I don't go after the politician, I go after the issue. Oakley uses insults.
ReplyDeleteOccasionally in the freep and such Oakley has some good, reasoned comments. And then you take a look at his blog and you have to wonder..are these even the same people?
