I think the NDP will for sure lose Dauphin. Stan Struthers is as feeble a MLA as I've ever seen. He's wishy washy and would be on the back bench if the NDP were not so weak in rural Manitoba.
Swan River, though, might be tough, as they keep making that riding less rural and more northern, which clearly benefits the NDP. Swan River also stole some NDP-friendly polls from Dauphin in the last reallocation. Sorry about that Stan.
In Winnipeg, I think the south part of the city is ready to abandon the NDP. Those people are itching for balanced budgets and real tax cuts. They're not going to get that from the NDP.
The flood, as the story indicates, will also be a factor. It all makes for a really interesting fall election.
