Sask blowing past us

That's a big difference in taxes. Probably explains why Sask is attracting people from across Canada, while Manitoba is bleeding people to other provinces.
The NDP will have a hard time defending this in the next election. Who would have ever thought Sask would blow past MB?

  1. Saskatchewan was just the last province to blow by us, there have been several already. Soon the rest will pass us and we WILL be at the bottom. Time to get out while the gettin' is still good!

  3. Really? That's pretty lazy. Sask had all that oil for years... it wasn't until the SASK NDP started to lower taxes that the province took off. Hate to tell you that Manitoba has oil, coal, potash, and a lot of other natural resources. They also have punishing taxes and a touchy feely government more interested in rewarding their urban core than developing rural Manitoba, where the real wealth generation possibilities exist.
